Every client has different ambitions. They operate in different sectors, speak to different audiences, are built around different structures and are controlled by different personalities. That’s why, when we start working with a client, we’ll ask questions – lots of questions. We interrogate, interview, research. Most importantly we listen – until we understand. And then we might ask some more questions.

Once we have all the raw information we can get our hands on it’s time to create some clarity. We’ll analyse the insight we’ve received and the challenges it reveals. If necessary, we’ll question our clients’ thinking, as well as testing our own. By doing so we can start to develop a strategy – simplifying things, making sense of things and defining the direction we should go in.

Great communication always starts with an idea. The right idea – the one that encapsulates your strategy in the most compelling way – will anchor your communication, engage your audience and realise your ambitions. As we’re an integrated agency, there’s no limit to how that idea can be expressed – we’ll use whichever channels of communication work best to bring your idea to life.

We’ve worked with some of our clients for years, becoming an extension of their business. Others work with us as and when they need our help. Some of our clients use our full service to develop, create and implement all of their strategy and communication, while some use us for shorter tactical projects. The nature of the relationships may vary, but we’re equally focused on bringing value to all of them.

Dos & Don’ts

  • We do tailor our approach to each individual client. Every client or job requires a unique approach and bespoke solution.
  • We do specialise. We specialise in communication. Our broad client base and integrated offer keep our eyes and minds wide open.
  • We do make things simple, easy to understand and take onboard. We think this makes communication more powerful.
  • We do realise that nothing ever stands still. So we’re always learning, developing and pushing boundaries.
  • We don’t apply formulas, sell packages or try to push one client’s success story onto another.
  • We don’t specialise. We don’t limit ourselves to specialising in specific markets and sectors because we would become stagnant.
  • We don’t use buzz words, marketing speak, smoke and mirrors or try to bamboozle with science. It just gets in the way.
  • We don’t think we know all the answers or consider ourselves the finished article.
