This project was about creating a new identity for the Spitalfields redevelopment which would catch the spirit of one of the most diverse quarters of London. We did some research and found that there had been a community of Huguenot weavers in the area in the 16th century. Fashion and crafts are still important locally, so we used the look and textures of fabric as one element of a distinctive visual style.
