
Fresh from a day of photographing David Attenborough for The Telegraph, Jim Naughten came in to tell us about his latest personal project in Namibia, where he’s been photographing local tribes. Jim also took us through his celebrated ‘Re-enactors’ monograph, which is currently being exhibited at the Imperial War Museum.
Jim has won numerous awards from the Association of Photographers and ‘American Photography’, Creative Review photography and the National Portrait Gallery’s Taylor Wessing Photographic prize. Jim’s book ‘Re-enactors’ won a yellow pencil at the 2010 D&AD Awards.
He has shot for advertising clients, such as Nike, Orange, and Sony PlayStation, and magazines, such as the Sunday Times, Independent magazine, Marie Clare, and is a regular contributor to the Observer magazine.
