2010-2011 was another rocky year for a construction industry still weathering the storm of the financial downturn. But Morgan Sindall wanted to show that, with a solid strategy in place, there was every reason for shareholders to feel confident about the future. Our brief for the year’s report was simple: convey the dynamism of the company, while capturing its underlying stability and unwavering sense of direction.
Our design puts the company’s strategy at the heart of the report. While the previous year’s report was divided by areas of business, this year we decided to structure it around the five pillars that make up the strategy. Solid, interlocking blocks of colour and a bold arrow motif emphasise the company’s strength and drive, while also acting as a navigation device to guide readers through the report.
